We made overnight in Þórshöfn – a small fishing village in northeast Iceland, located on the northern coast of the Langanes peninsula on the Þistilfjörður bay. The campsite is high in the village in a peaceful location. It is a good starting point to visit Langanes, where you can watch over bird-filled cliffs from a new viewing platform. There are just a few places in the world that feel as remote as Langanes.
