After the visit to Platamon Castle, we drove a few minutes down to Skotina Beach. It is a sandy beach divided into two parts, one part belongs to a nearby army base where only army personnel can enter. There are many budget hotels and apartments in the area, so some simple touristic infrastructure has grown with simple restaurants, shops, and mini markets.
