On the way to Shipit Waterfall, we have stopped by the church – the oldest building in Pylypets village. The baroque wooden church was built in the second half of the 18th century. Then we slowly drove bumpy road for another 5 kilometers to reach our final parking destination. From there it is just 20 minutes to reach the waterfall on Pylypets river at the foot of Hymba mountain (1491 m). The waterfall has 5 cascades and it is 14 meters high. We did not have money to pay the entrance 20 UAH, because we did not expect there such a “touristic destination” with souvenir shops and barbecue stalls, but anyway, the friendly guard let us in.
