We spent the whole afternoon in Rodnei Mountains around Borșa. Rodnei Mountain National Park has been designated a biosphere reservation by UNESCO for its abundance of glacial features and profusion of flora and fauna species. Borșa is a small ski resort and tourist complex in the Maramures area of Romania at an altitude of 850 meters. The town is an excellent base to rest and also a great starting point to explore mountains. We took a chair lift (30 ROL) to the top, from where we made a short hike (1 hour) to the waterfall (Cascada Cailor).
