We took a road from the village to Pionerska Hut (1585 m), from there we took a chair lift up to 2150 m. Our five hours hike has started here. We enjoyed spectacular views and beautiful landscapes at an altitude of 2305 m. The Seven Lakes are located in Northwestern Rila and are probably the most visited places in these mountains. Its popularity is due to the natural beauty of a group of glacier lakes, the highest of them is located at about 2500 m. The Eye is the deepest in the group, reaching a depth of 37,5 meters. The biggest as a surface area is the Kidney Lake.
