On the way to the south, we stopped for an overnight at the largest beach in Laconia located just two kilometers from the town of Gythion. It is six kilometers long sandy beach with small pebbles. It gets livelier in summer, but thanks to its size, it never gets overcrowded. We parked near Demestichas Sotiris Restaurant, so we had our beach dinner there (Fried eggplant – 4,50 EUR, Veal steak – 10 EUR, Pork steak – 8 EUR, Greek yogurt with honey – 3 EUR, Mineral water – 1 l / 1 EUR) and omelet for breakfast (from 4,50 EUR).
