It’s challenging to take photos of Dubai’s most iconic hotel and a global icon of Arabian luxury. You can explore it from the private beach in front of the hotel or the boat. You can also visit the hotel on a guided tour or book a room there. We wandered around Souk Al Madinat, a shopping and dining complex, from where we also got some views of the Burj Al Arab.
It is the fifth tallest hotel in the world (321 m), although 39% of its total height comprises non-occupiable space. It stands on an artificial island 280 m from Jumeirah Beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The structure’s shape is designed to resemble the sail of a ship.
