It was hard to imagine that a range of wildlife also calls Diani Beach its home. Opened in 2016, Bora Bora Wildlife Camp is the largest wildlife sanctuary in all of Diani and offers a unique taste of safari less than 500m from the Indian Ocean. It is home to everything from peacocks to buffaloes. A tour of their 50 hectares of land is around two hours (🎟️25 USD) from start to finish and includes a walk on the nature trail, a visit to each animal enclosure, and feeding giraffes. The walking tour includes visiting the traditional Maasai homestead on the site (they expect some tips).
