The great tiny narrow road leads us to the Heinabergslón – a little known glacial lagoon in the south of Iceland. It can be found within Vatnajökull National Park, located on the South Coast. The glacial lagoon’s outlet glacier is Heinabergsjökull, itself a part of Vatnajökull. The lagoon is still and tranquil ambiance with no people and stunning surrounding scenery. It is less popular, and less known, so we got some time for a hike around the lagoon and also for some photo shooting session with the truck.
