DIVJAKË NATIONAL PARK

We arrived at the beach inside National Park Divjakë-Karavasta, it’s located near the Adriatic Sea. We did overnight just on the great long lonely sandy beach. The park spans a territory of 222,3 square kilometers with wetlands, salt marshes, coastal meadows, floodplains, woodlands, reed beds, forests, and estuaries. You can find here 228 species of birds, 25 species of mammals, 29 species of reptiles, and 29 species of amphibia. The park is most notable for featuring 5% of the world population of the globally endangered and extremely rare Dalmatian pelican. The forests provide shelter for a large number of animals, including the red fox, golden jackal, and roe deer.
