After morning sightseeing in Shkodra, we got to the relaxed beach in Velipoja, where we stayed for 2 nights. If you come around, do not forget to try tasty pizza in camp Vilunit at Laguna Beach. After some swimming, we again hit the road and got our first diesel in Albania (refueling is always fun here as you can see in the picture). On the way to Kruja, we made a short stop at Lezha Castle (322 m). The castle originates from Illyrian times. In 1440 it was reconstructed by the Venetians, and in 1522, after the Ottoman conquest, it was rebuilt again.
